Emily Chapin joined the Aegis team in July 2022. Prior to this, Ms. Chapin taught AP Environmental Science and Earth Science at Deep Run High School for seven years. As a professional educator, Ms. Chapin worked with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and the local Soil and Water Conservation District creating and curating investigations for students. Ms. Chapin was awarded Conservation Education Teacher of the Year for her passion and knowledge of environmental science. Ms. Chapin has experience with data collection and analytics, curricula development, management systems, SQL, Excel, and research.
