Dorothy Caserta began with Aegis as a Project Scientist in January 2024. She graduated from James Madison University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) with a concentration in Sustainable Environmental Systems and Energy as well as a minor in Science, Technology and Society (STS). During her time at JMU she worked as an intern at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) in the Radiological Health and Emergency Planning department. After graduation she began working at Soli Organic as a Grower where she was responsible for soil and crop quality and environmental monitoring. Since working with Aegis, she has worked closely on a Coal Combustion Residuals project assisting in maintaining compliance with environmental, chemical, waste management and permit regulations as well as assisting in inspections for a solar site.
